Antique William IV Mahogany Corner Armchair

Very special.  Appearing first in the early 18th Century, corner chairs are were designed to save space by nestling into a corner.

This exquisite 19th Century corner armchair is unlike any we have come across because of its size – it is particularly large and exceptionally comfortable.  Made of solid mahogany and has been fully rebuilt and restored. Though slightly indulgent, we decided to upholster it by combining two contrasting colours of luxurious Italian-made velvet set off beautifully green piping.

A rare and truly stunning piece, the armchair stands on lotus carved legs.
