Comfort and style! Absolutely fabulous British Bentwood Art Deco Armchair/ Lounger Circa 1930. This is such a statement piece which is not only super comfortable but also striking. We upholstered it in reddish/ black South American Cowhide adding two original Deco leather buttons for that special touch. The back is upholstered in brown leather and finished off with matching tacks.
  • Art Deco Library Armchair With Bookcase And Drinks Cabinet In South American Cowhide

Wonderful, unusual and rare Art Deco library chair with bookshelves and drinks cabinet. All that is missing is Ernest Hemingway or perhaps Scott Fitzgerald. The frame is made of oak with oak classic Art Deco carvings down the front panels. It has supremely comfortable curved back and sprung cushion, all covered in striking South American cow hide which shades wonderfully from chocolate brown to black with a beautiful cream patch in the middle. This is finished off with individual bronze studs. The combination of the wood and the hide looks exquisite. Extravagant yet supremely functional, , what could be better at the end of a tough day or an a rainy Sunday than reclining back and enjoying a good read with a favorite malt? A really gorgeous and interesting piece.
